Is it soft or smooth?

Have you noticed nowadays how almost every garment is soft? That's because it's simply a very marketable word. But it isn't always the best descriptive word. We prefer to use the word smooth to describe our fabric.

The benefits of being 'smooth':

1. A thinner, more invisible fabric

Think: low-pile carpet vs shag rug.
Less fuzz → more sleekness → more flattering on the body.

2. Far fewer places for pills to form

Pills form on fuzz.
less fuzz → more longevity.

3. Better breathability + moisture release

Fuzz = capillary action = moisture clinging to the surface.
Smoother fibers = faster moisture wicking

4. It gets better with washing

Like high-end percale sheets, our fabric becomes softer over time because the fibers relax instead of breaking down.

It’s one of those rare fabrics that becomes better the more you live in it.

End result? You get:

  • the breathability of cotton

  • the thin, smooth feel of silk

  • the durability of high-end activewear

That's how we made a new sort of 100% cotton thong for women who don't like thongs™.
